Now that the NFL is reaching that half way point in the regular season, I think its time that I give a shout out to Andy Dalton. This week the NFL has announced that Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been named the league’s Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Dalton led the Bengals to a 4-0 record in October, becoming the first Bengals rookie quarterback to lead four straight victories. This is a small victory for Andy and hopefully there are many more to come. As a Bengals fan, I have little hope of making the playoffs this year, considering we have a rookie Qb and the youngest wide receiver core in the NFL. However anything is possible and there have been stranger things that have happened in NFL history.
As the Bengals head into the second half of their season with a 5-2 record, I hope to see the same kind of exciting wins and if I cant have wins, I guess close losses. AFC North has always been a tough division and this rookie quarterback has 2 Steelers and 2 Ravens games to look forward to. Good job Andy Dalton and good luck in the games to come.
