Round 1

  • Miami and Philadelphia flip flopped first round picks in the Maxwell trade

1. Tennessee Titans: Laremy Tunsil – OT – Ole Miss.
I’m seeing Ramsey more and more, but I doubt it…

2. Cleveland Browns: Carson Wentz – QB – North Dakota State
In the AFC North, I’ll go with the bigger stronger Wetnz

3. San Diego Chargers: Jalen Ramsey – S/CB – Florida State
They would love Tunsil, but Ramsey could be dominate

4. Dallas Cowboys: Myles Jack – LB – UCLA
I still like Goff here, but Jack would fit in perfectly

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Joey Bosa – DE – Ohio State
The Jags went after Oliver, so they need Bosa

6. Baltimore Ravens: DeForest Buckner – DE – Oregon
Buckner helps the Ravens Dline.

7. San Francisco 49ers: Jared Goff – QB – California.
Is if funny that other teams in need of a QB are talking to SF?  I think it’s funny.

8. Philadelphia Eagles (From Mia): Ezekiel Elliott – RB – Ohio State
Elliot replaces Murray… Mathews trade next?

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Leonard Floyd – OLB – Georgia
Broncos won on pass rush… the rest of the league will copy that.

10. New York Giants: Ronnie Stanley – OT – Notre Dame
Beef up the offensive line for Manning.

11. Chicago Bears: Jack Conklin – OT – Michigan State
Almost got Stanley…. I can’t remember the last time the Bears didn’t need Oline help

12. New Orleans Saints: Jarran Reed – DT – Alabama
A strong presence up the middle will help that Defense a ton

13. Miami Dolphins (From Phi): Vernon Hargreaves III – CB – Florida
Miami needs a corner so bad.

14. Oakland Raiders: Reggie Ragland – LB – Alabama
Ragland in the middle of that defense could be a nice pair with Mack.

15. Los Angeles Rams: Paxton Lynch – QB – Memphis
New city, New QB…. still.

16. Detroit Lions: Shaq Lawson – DE – Clemson
This is a tough pick… I don’t like the value here. But they do need the help on that D line.

17. Atlanta Falcons: Noah Spence – OLB – Eastern Kentucky
Boom or bust pick, but with the need on pass rush… they roll the dice.

18. Indianapolis Colts: Mackensie Alexander – CB – Clemson
Cornerback help… since Conklin is off the board.

19. Buffalo Bills: Leonard Floyd – OLB – Georgia
Rex gets to build his defense

20. New York Jets: Darron Lee – OLB – Ohio State
Great value here, just have to take BPA

21. Washington Redskins:  Eli Apple – CB – Ohio State
Did you see their playoff game?  Maybe need some help in the secondary.

22. Houston Texans: Corey Coleman – WR – Baylor
Tough pick… I like the speed WR here, but I think the Texans want to run the ball.

23. Minnesota Vikings: Laquon Treadwell – WR – Ole  Miss
More weapons for Bridgewater!

24. Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Doctson – WR – TCU
Andy Dalton gets another weapon… rush on wideouts!

25. Pittsburgh Steelers: William Jackson – CB – Houston
They need to stop someone… and they’ve needed corners for some time.

26. Seattle Seahawks: Taylor Decker – OT – Ohio State
Russell Wilson was running for his life almost every snap

27. Green Bay Packers: Andrew Billings – DT – Baylor
They could go so many ways here… I figure bluster the D line

28. Kansas City Chiefs: Sheldon Rankins – DT – Louisville
Andy Reid takes a Dline men? Of course…

** New England Patriots Forfeit Pick

29. Arizona Cardinals: Jason Spriggs – OT – Indiana
They need to improve that secondary

30. Carolina Panthers: Kendall Fuller – CB – Virginia Tech
Tillman is old, time to get his replacement

31. Denver Broncos: A’Shawn Robinson – DT – Alabama
Not sexy, but effective.

On to round 2!

Don’t forget to listen to our simulated draft…. it’s amazing who gets reached for, and who falls.
